1999 Sportsman 500.
I was out tinkering and doing maintenance this weekend. I was changing rear brake pads, so I thought I would pull the rear dipstick which is right there too.
When I pulled it, the dipstick was bone dry, so, i figured i would just change it all out since I was there.
Ran up to the Polaris dealer for the AGL fluid, no real other choice on a Saturday afternoon.
My question is how much fluid goes back in when drained? Dealer parts guy said "Most of a quart". I pout in about 80% and there is fluid on the dipstick, but those arent exactly great measuring sticks.
So, how much rear end fluid?
